Gainsborough multi sports association

THE Lincolnshire sports partnership has engaged with the local community to set up a multi sports association in Gainsborough.

Community volleyball, netball, badminton and basketball clubs and a hockey club have been started thanks to Star Energy funding.

Two holiday sports schemes were run in October 2009 and February 2010.  It is hoped that the association can become self sustaining following the 12 funding period.
